The boom in energy demand is making it more difficult for technology companies to procure clean-energy supplies. More than a quarter of leaders in the South Atlantic U.S. recently told EBI researchers that they are struggling to secure adequate energy supply of any type. Other top areas of struggle include the Southeast (23%), California (21%) and the Mid-Atlantic (21%).

That’s one of the main findings of a new EBI report—sponsored by NextEra Energy Resources and produced in conjunction with Endeavor Business Media brands EnergyTech and Data Center Frontier—that also shows that 35% of tech leaders think clean-energy supplies are not well matched with the location of their operations.

In short, tech leaders still have many energy questions to answer. That helps explain why more than four out of five of them already are in or are evaluating a multi-site partnership with a clean-energy firm. Read much more on the topic right here and make it a habit to regularly visit EnergyTech and Data Center Frontier so you can keep up with this fast-moving dialog.
